Some news reports are hinting that the market may be turning around. Pending home sales improved in December 2008 over November 2008. Here is the news story.

Asheville popped in at #41 on the CNN 100 Best Place’s to Live and Launch list. We personally think it should be about #1 or possibly #2. However, you do have to actually “live” in Asheville to get the true feeling of Asheville. It is truly like no other, and now is the perfect time to buy, as prices are low and inventory is up. House works on new bill for housing market.

Yesterday, a new bill was introduced into the House. This bill is called H.R. 384., and would require the Treasury Dept. to develop a program to stimulate demand for home purchases.
