After graduating the University of Oxford, Carla worked as a commercial real estate attorney for Hogan Lovells LLP in London, specializing in real estate finance, investment and complex development work for institutional clients including Prudential, Ford Motor Company, Barclays Bank, HSBC and a number of REIT's. She has advised extensively on solar farm and renewable energy producing property transactions and hotel and care home M & A. Since moving to Asheville, NC in 2013 Carla has used her expertise to move into commercial real estate brokerage where she works alongside investors, businesses and non profit organizations to meet their CRE goals.
Carla currently serves as the Managing Director of KW Commercial in Asheville. She also currently serves on the Real Estate Board of The Community Foundation of WNC, The Endangered Properties Committee of The Historic Preservation Society, and the Agent Leadership Committee for Keller Williams Professionals.
As a commercial and investment real estate broker, Chris leverages his marketing and negotiation background to represent KW Commercial’s leasing and sales clients. He has a demonstrated track record across product categories, with concentrated work in office, medical office, industrial, mixed use, and land. Mr. Gragtmans' passions in the business include asset financial analysis, adaptive reuse, tax-deferred exchanges, and Opportunity Zone placements.

I started in Real Estate as an Investor in CA. It went well and I enjoyed being in the Investor and Broker community. I moved to NC and continued as a Broker as well as active Investor. My primary activities are in multifamily--including mobile home parks. I own several rental buildings and am in the process of building a 16 unit multifamily property.
