Rachel has called Western North Carolina home for over 22 years with her husband and two (now grown) children. Her love of the mountains, the Asheville community, and all things housing drew her to pursue real estate in the summer of 2016. Rachel is actively engaged as former Chairperson and current member of the Affordable Housing Committee at the Land of the Sky Association of REALTORS® and seeks every opportunity to interact & collaborate with City and County officials in order to bring awareness to the Affordable Housing Crisis, as well as, working towards developing creative solutions to preserve Asheville’s unique sense of community and diversity. Outside of real estate, Rachel enjoys hiking, paddling, & boating in the surrounding mountain communities. Rachel came to KWP in 2018 and has been in her current role as Broker in Charge since December 2021, where she enjoys actively engaging with the agents and assisting in a variety of ways.
